Leslie Matthews is an Adelaide based contemporary jeweller and object maker whose work spans over 28 years. She is a master of her craft and her delicate work is elegant and reflects the complexity of nature.

"The jewellery and objects I create focus on concepts of abstraction and impermanence, contrast and shadows. The action of repetition, processes of making and the rhythms of my body are evident in the work I make. I endeavour to articulate an intensity of expression using delicate patterns, textures, contrasting scale and materiality".  Leslie Matthews.
